Hi, I’m Dania — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Trauma Counselor, and founder of
Heart Soil Counseling.​

 

  Maybe you’ve caught yourself wondering, “What’s wrong with me?” — why you react so strongly, shut down so quickly, or care so deeply it hurts. You hold it together so well that most people would never guess how heavy it feels inside. You’re not broken; you’re carrying stories your body and heart haven’t had space to heal.

 

    My goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and understood as we explore the roots of what you’ve been carrying. Together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of your emotions, your patterns, and your body’s responses.

 

   I want to help you uncover not just why you feel stuck, but how to move forward with confidence, self-compassion, and peace. You can heal from the roots up — tending to the spaces where faith, culture, and attachment meet.

My Mission

At Heart Soil Counseling, my mission is to help individuals heal from the roots up — exploring your story to restore safety, self-compassion, and connection where pain once took root. I believe healing is a slow return to wholeness — the gentle restoration comprised of compassion, truth, and presence. It isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with us, but nurturing the soil of our hearts so that what’s true, good, and God-breathed can take root again allowing our hearts to courageously give and receive love.

My Approach

   My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and holistic, grounded in both clinical research and compassionate presence. I believe that our symptoms often make sense in light of what we’ve survived — and that true healing begins when we start listening to what our pain has been trying to protect.

   In our sessions, you’ll find a mix of honest direction, practical tools, and soulful reflection using evidence-based exercises and empathic curiosity. You’ll learn not just why you feel stuck, but how to move forward with confidence, self-compassion, and peace.

   I want to help you move from surviving to truly living — to understand that your reactions, your patterns, and even your pain all make sense in light of what you’ve been through. You’ve had good reasons for the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself. Now, together, we can start building new ways to feel safe, connected, and whole. Because I believe that healing happens when we tend to the heart, we don’t just recover; we rebuild the foundation for a secure, thriving life.
